Les Beaux Chenes is in the Commune of Pont de Barret and is located just 4 kms away from this beautiful historic village, which boasts a Roman church and bridge, as well as some interesting architecture. The river Roubion runs through and is an ideal spot for swimming and bathing. There are lots of mountain walks from the village.

The village has many amenities, including 3 excellent restaurants, a friendly bar which is open from early until late, a Boulangerie, a Wine Cave and a Post Office.

It is a truly beautiful, listed, historic village, which is full of life, where artisans, farmers and artists, live side by side.

There is an excellent weekly market, from April until October, where you can enjoy local produce and taste local wines. Local markets can be found at nearby towns throughout the year.

There are many historic villages and sites to explore nearby or a little further away. The beautiful historic towns of Montelimar, Dieulefit and Crest are each 25 minutes away. The historic city of Valence is 50 minutes to the North, whilst Orange is 50 minutes South and Avignon, just over an hour. Nimes is 1.30 minutes South West. Lyon is 2 hours to the North and Marseille, 2 hours South. The Camargue is 2 hours away. The nearest ski stations are 1.30 hours East.
