This is a perfect area for walking and running, whatever your level. There are a variety of scenic walks and trails that start straight from Les Beaux Chenes or the nearby village The local roads are quiet and scenic. The owners are enthusiastic walkers and runners and we are happy to help you to plan a short stroll or a longer trek.
A short drive will take you to some spectacular scenery, such as the Foret de Saou, La Roche Colombe or for the more adventurous, Les Trois Becs.
A little further afield is the National Park area of the Vercours, with ski lifts operating in the summer to take you up to a plateau with unsurpassed views. You may be lucky enough to see one of the indigenous vultures circling overhead. Their wingspan is up to 3 metres, so they should be easy to spot!
